says: Kayla. Still working on my family history and loving it. Ive been working with our Fort Concho museum which has a huge archieve of old pictures. I found some on their online site that have my family from way back when. We are going to have a family reunion next summer in San Antonio, TX, so we have a FB Group and we have been finding cousins from all over the country and they are showing up in our group. So everyone is looking for old, old pictures. You know....I have quit opeining my emails from VM, and the other artists. I've have just lost my interest.....hope things are going good for you. I think things have finally settled down with Bryan and I...I've gotten used to him being around now....LOL

I love the fact that I can log in on some days and ancestery has lots of hints for me. And I have found if I make people who alive now....dead...I'm able to get info on them. Ancestery tries to keep live people's info secret until they died. I want it now!! And yes, I'v been having lots of fun. One of my sisters tells me I'm going to go crazy....LOL. Kayla. We were planning on having it at one of my cousins home who has a big, big yard and home....but they finally decided 200+ people were too much. So finally decided to rent a *stable* at our old Fort Concho. We have a Fort here in town that used to have soldiers when they were fighting indians around this area. They remodeled couple of the horse stables into event venues. The entire fort has been kept up and most of the buildings are used one way or another. An elementary school was built so long ago next to the fort and a few years ago they needed a separated building to house a bigger library, so they built it in the replica of the old hospital at the fort. Using the same river rocks used to build the other buildings.

She's gotten back as far as the 1400s so far on one side of the family, and now she tracing the other side. She just got a bunch of info from our relatives in Ireland so she's off and running with that! I hope you have as much fun with it as she is having.

But as time goes by and I'm doing other things, the not designing is getting lots better. I really, really wanted to get the VMT July 4th doll and I talked myself out of it. Been doing something new...working on my dad's family history, I had lots of it but today I found lots of new and interesting things I had never heard before. I find something and it will open another question!! Bryan tells I'm addicted to keeping my fingers and mind busy!! Guys, I do miss all of you!! BTW, searching Ancestory. com is so much fun!!!

They are letting us use their offices to make calls. Been nice to get to know lots of new people who like doing it. Also been working on a Cousin's Reunion in mid July on my mom's side of the family....well all her bothers and sisters are gone except one who is very old and lives in CA....but all the cousins are planning on getting together mid July. One thing that I'm having problems with is staying away from VeryMany doll site. I get her emails and I want to buy, buy,buy....but I'm being strong and not doing it. But it naws on me so bad, since I don't know if I will ever go back to designing and it would not work if I was stuck with all the new dolls I had. Not to say I don't have so many new ones I had never use.

But what I can't believe that what I call my little nephew...Marc's brother who I started taking care of when he was 6 mos old while his mom was finishing her college degree, will be in Middle School next year!! He is so excited because he will be leaving with his uncle who lives in NC next week to spend a month with his family. And the fact he is taking his first plane ride!! He thinks its funny that I want him to call me as soon as they land and I know he is ok....*laffs* OK...got to go...Bryan is knocking on my window to bring him some cold water...he is doing the yard!! Ain't I lucky!!

I'm going to leave the board as is, I will show up once in awhile. If you have loaded your board sets to the gallery that is ok. Unless I find that you have moved them to other sites...then I will put the board on maintenance. Who knows one of these days I might relent and buy a new computer. I just dread going to Windows 10 and a new paint program!!! I might drop by Needy once in awhile. Although got to admit, I have been OK with not doing all this for the last 3-4 weeks. I know all of you do not talk politics, but I am and have always been involved. So at the moment I'm busy with the Elect Beto O'Rouke campaign hoping to kick out Sen. Ted Cruz...*shudders* I don't know how far we can go with Texas being a bright red state. OK...will not bore you anymore with my politics...*laffs* Have a great summer.
