I just got back from Odessa,TX...went to see my old HS football team The Angry Orange Bobcats kick butt against the *Friday Night Lights Team*. My HS and Permian have been rivals for years, since I was in HS and it was fun to make the trip again tonight. BTW, I have never seen the movie...guess one of these days I will have to watch it. ....good night....I'm going to bed. |

We have to travel about 100 miles to just get to an interstate highway. We do have an Air Force Base that does not serve as a Air Base, meaning they do not fly planes in and out, but rather its an Intelligence Base for all the Military Services. So you would think as I did that we were safe in this town out in the middle of nowhere. We just found out couple of days ago that on Oct 5th, two men from Milwaukee were caught coming into our city who were actually on their way to Mexico on their way to Syria. They were on their way to join ISIS. The FBI and our local police were waiting for them. The reason for me sharing this, who thought someone like these two idiots would ever make it to our town...not me for sure. It's plain scary. Guess we all need to be aware wherever we live. |
